The core investment funds
The core investment funds give you access to thousands of companies based in Europe, Asia and North America. You can pick between four funds each giving you a different risk level and different % of your money in equities (shares in a company). For our Multi-Asset Funds (Cautious - Adventurous) the rest is used to buy bonds (effectively lending money to governments & companies in return for a fixed interest rate).
On top of trying to maximise profits, the investments aim to have at least 80% of the assets meeting ESG (environmental, social & governance) criteria.

Why diversify?
Imagine a pizza where every slice is a different flavour. That’s diversification. It’s where you invest in lots of different businesses and types of industries as a way to spread the risk. So if one of your slices turns out to not be as tasty as you’d hoped, one of the others might just smash your expectations.
